Experience

My background

I am currently Oxbridge co-ordinator at a large UK school Sixth Form and a member of the Sixth Form's leadership team with significant areas of strategic and management responsibility.

I have been teaching for well over a decade and have supported students through every stage of the Oxbridge process, from supporting students to develop their super-curricular knowledge to arranging mock interviews.

My approach

My approach is effective because, having worked with hundreds of students, I understand the best way to approach the application process is through setting bespoke personal targets, checking progress regularly and from the outset in the form of one-to-one meetings and ensuring that students feel fully confident and completely supported.

I recognise too that there is so much information out there that it is easy for students to feel overwhelmed or even unsure about how to move their application forward successfully, which is why the foundation of my support is the one-to-one meeting from week one onwards. I am not going ask you to enrol on an online course or work through a textbook for weeks or even months before I speak to you: the individualised support and contact will be there immediately and available regularly thereafter.

Services

For the service that I offer, my prices are significantly cheaper than larger online providers. This is because I work for myself, take on only a handful of clients in addition to my "day job".

My fees are £350 per month, which includes a weekly one-to-one session, for those looking to build their application from scratch and have full support at all stages.

If you are looking for personal statement advice and feedback, a one-to-one session will cost £200, though this fee also includes the time I will take before the meeting to look through your personal statement to give you recommendations when we discuss it together. There are changes to the personal statement from 2025 onwards and my advice will be completely up-to-date and take account of this change.

If you are looking for interview preparation, I can discuss general strategies with you focused on replicating Oxford's tutorial and Cambridge's supervision system. A one-to-one session will cost £250.
